Grubb was raised in the heart of New York City, and had never seen a full moon before arriving in Colorado for her undergraduate studies in sociology and music and masters degree in Peripatology from Boston College. She has had an extensive career working with the Blind, interns at PVCC, and as a psychologist within the juvenile corrections system for many years.

Dorothy Jones grew up in Douglas, Arizona, before moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico. She earned her B.S. in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education and Family Relationships from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
Dorothy taught public school in New Mexico and Phoenix. She retired as the Tittle One Coordinator and teacher from the Deer Valley Public Schools in Arizo
